Kassym-Jomart Tokayev outlined the priority of the justice system for the future: increasing the confidence of people, business and investors in the courts
The President of Kazakhstan was informed about the progress in preparing the judicial system for the introduction of administrative justice. Kassym-Jomart Tokayev was also presented with proposals aimed at improving the system for selecting new judges, ensuring the uniformity of judicial practice and, in general, improving the quality of legal proceedings.
The President focused on ensuring real competition between the prosecution and the defense in the criminal process.
