The Head of State signed amendments to the legislation on transport and subsoil use

Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev signed the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On Amendments and additions to some legislative Acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on transport and subsoil use”, the press service of Akorda reports.

As previously reported, the law is aimed at automating the control of vehicles, improving the procedure for investigating the events of a derailment or collision of trains, as well as accidents with ships.

In addition, the document provides for bringing the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in line with the requirements of the standards of the International Civil Aviation Organization and the aviation requirements of the European Union.

At the same time, the provisions of the law imply a change in the regulation of the mechanism for obtaining a permit to carry out activities on the aerodrome territory and attracting investments in the field of subsoil use for complex projects.
