The first draft of the new Building Code was presented
The presentation of the first draft (draft project) of the Building Code being developed is taking place at the site of NPP Atameken. The event is attended by representatives of the business community and experts of the construction industry, reports the press service of the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The suggestions and comments made during the presentation will be taken into account when discussing specific chapters and sections in the formed working subgroups involved in the development of the draft document.
The Code provides for the regulation of relations between state bodies, individuals and legal entities in the process of architectural, urban planning and construction activities, and is aimed at the formation of a full-fledged habitat and human activity, sustainable development of settlements and inter-settlement territories.
The draft Building Code is available to a wide range of interested parties on the website of the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Earlier at the Government meeting, Minister of Industry and Infrastructure Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan Marat Karabayev said that the first draft of the draft code was developed jointly with representatives of major industry associations (about 10) and industry institutes (RSE “Gradkadastr”, GRP “Gosexpertiza”, JSC “KazNIISA”, JSC “Kazcentrzhkh”).
According to him, it is planned to submit the developed project to the Majilis of the Parliament by the end of the year.
“In general, the Construction Code will combine four laws and provides for amendments to eight codes covering the full life cycle of the construction process, which involves work from planning to operation,” the minister added.
