The draft law on the payment of children from the National Fund was adopted by the Mazhilis
The deputies of the Mazhilis adopted the draft law “On amendments and additions to some legislative acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on payments to children from the National Fund of the Republic of Kazakhstan”.
“This bill was developed with the aim of launching the project of the Head of State “National Fund for Children” from January 1, 2024. 50% of the annual investment income of the National Fund is accumulated in special savings accounts of children. The main purpose of the bill is to support the younger generation within the framework of the possibility of improving housing conditions or obtaining education at the expense of savings when citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan reach adulthood. The Finance and Budget Committee of the Mazhilis is ready to consider this bill and prepare a conclusion on it,” MP Madi Takiyev said at the plenary session of the Mazhilis.
In addition, according to him, a special state fund and a management company will be created for the accumulation and management of assets returned to the state.
“This will allow the returned assets to be used to finance social and economic projects aimed at improving the welfare of the people of Kazakhstan and achieving transparency and efficiency in this process. Thus, a clear and transparent mechanism for the work of state bodies and organizations in the field of asset recovery will be built,” the speaker added.
