“Children’s Code” is going to be developed in Kazakhstan
Kazakhstan plans to open new types of additional education organizations to ensure the employment of teenagers.
Such measures are provided for in the draft Comprehensive Plan “Bala korgau” for the protection of children from violence, suicide prevention and ensuring their rights and well-being for 2023-2025, posted on the portal Open NPAs.
The plan provides for the adoption of measures for 100% coverage of minors with additional education, the opening of new types of additional education organizations to ensure the employment of adolescents,” the document says.
The project also plans the creation of parent communities in each educational organization (clubs of mothers, fathers, grandparents), monitoring of children’s well-being, the introduction of an interactive map of children’s well-being
It is also planned to develop a set of explanations of the norms of legislation and regulatory legal acts concerning the protection of the rights and interests of minors “Children’s Code”.
Earlier it was reported that Kazakhstan intends to approve a comprehensive plan to protect children from violence.
