Bookmaker’s offices and totalizators will be obliged to transfer information about players

The State Revenue Committee of the Ministry of Finance reported that on December 12 last year amendments were made to the Tax Code, providing for the obligation of betting offices and totalizators to ensure the integration of hardware and software complexes with information systems of the State Revenue Committee (paragraph 28 of Article 26 of the Tax Code). The amendments will enter into legal force on February 12, 2024.

The order of integration interaction will be determined by the relevant rules, which have been developed and are at the stage of coordination with the interested state bodies, among which are the Ministry of Tourism and the Ministry of Digitization.

The Committee added that the confidentiality of information received will be ensured in accordance with the unified requirements in the field of information and communication technologies and information security, as well as the Law of RK “On Informatization”.
