The President of the Republic of Kazakhstan signed the law on ratification of the Protocol on Amendments to the EAEU Treaty due to Armenia’s accession to it

The Head of State signed the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On ratification of the Protocol on Amendments to the Treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union dated May 29, 2014 in connection with the accession of the Republic of Armenia to it,” the law says.

The draft law is aimed at ensuring effective cooperation in the field of electric power between the EAEU member states, including the Republic of Armenia. Within the framework of the protocol, a number of amendments and additions are being made to the methodology for the implementation of interstate transmission of electric energy between the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union.
