The President of the Republic of Kazakhstan has ratified agreements on cooperation with Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan in case of emergency

The press service of Akorda reports that the Head of State signed the Laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan on ratification of Agreements with the Government of Turkmenistan and the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan on cooperation in the field of civil defense, prevention and liquidation of emergency situations.”


As explained by the Minister of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yuri Ilyin, the agreements allow the parties to exchange experience in the field of forecasting emergencies, preparing the population for actions in case of their threat and occurrence. The agreements include the opportunity to train specialists in the field of civil protection in educational institutions of the States parties.

At the same time, the ratification of the agreements will make it possible to provide assistance in emergency situations on the territory of the parties. Emergency rescue units may cross the State border and import forces and means in the event of an emergency situation on the territory of the parties.
